It’s an honour to build exhibition stands
It’s an honour to build exhibition stands for our clients, it often means our team can be in another part of world completing a stand design or adding the finishing touches to a client’s next exhibition. But sometimes it’s great when we are working with a business a little closer to home.
The Great British Shooting Show over the weekend of 17th & 18th of February at The Birmingham NEC gave us exactly that opportunity. Europe’s largest retail and trade shooting show attracts all of the major players from across the world to exhibit with thousands of visitors visiting the exhibition stands too. We were delighted to be working with BSA Guns for this event who are a true piece of Birmingham and UK history.
Working with the team at BSA we advised and designed their new exhibition stand to give them a display stand to be proud of at the show. It featured the right mix of demonstrating the history and heritage of BSA and the fantastic range of products that the company produces. Once our initial work with BSA had established the exhibition stand design ideas, we worked closely with the team at every stage, sharing our extensive exhibition experience and learning more about BSA’s history and future goals ensured that together we delivered a stunning display stand. We build our exhibition stands to the exact specifications of the design so what you see in the design is what you get in the build but it’s still a special moment when the exhibition stand design comes to life in front of the client’s eyes. The exhibition stand featured a display of BSA’s products, showcasing the range of PCP airguns, spring guns and optic scopes that BSA produces. In addition, integral to the stand design was a featured element of the company’s history which featured prominently. And when you’ve got a history like BSA Guns then you can understand why.
When companies come to us and ask for our help in how to design and build an exhibition stand, we always take time to understand what is most important, we look at company information and of course what the heritage and history of the company. Taking the time needed to understand your objectives will ensure that the business is well represented at their exhibition or trade show. In the case of BSA, it’s an amazing story of rich heritage which began back in 1861 in Small Heath in Birmingham. Within a few short years, the company were working on Government contracts and with the outbreak of the First World War, production went through the roof. The Second World War again had BSA central to the war effort in this country and ultimately gave the company a unique place in Britain’s history. Throw in the fact that their location meant that BSA was in and around Birmingham at the time when the Peaky Blinders were in the city and it’s easy to see how the company is a part of modern history in so many ways.
New product development has also formed a key part of the company’s history and it was that innovative research and design element that we were delighted to be connected to when it came to our exhibition stand design and build service. We work on exhibition stand design with businesses of all types and sizes but when there is a company with a genuine history like this, it makes our display stand design that much more interesting. The display stand design service really comes to life when we build the final product and it was fantastic to see the BSA exhibition stand at the Great British Shooting Show. With our stand located in Hall 6, the show included huge names from the industry from The Countryman’s Weekly Magazine and world-renowned ammunition manufacturer, Eley.
Our exhibition stand design and build services take us to a lot of different exhibition centres, shows and expos across the country. While in this instance we’ve been in the world of shooting we have worked in everything from cycling to clothing to furniture and lots more. Our design team are extremely experienced and passionate about creating an exhibition stand that not only looks amazing but delivers the technical requirements needed to be effective (like visitor flow and the position of your promotional materials). Just like we did with BSA, we’ll turn your ideas into an initial design usually with 3D designs and drawings. Once you are happy with the exhibition stand design, the next stage will be the exhibition stand build where our team of skilled carpenters, electricians and fabricators.
Whether you’re a business with hundreds of years of experience and history like BSA Guns or attending your first trade show or exhibition and need an exhibition stand with a concept designed from scratch, then our team can help on every step of the way.
