Bespoke exhibition stand designed and built by T2 Display, UK

One team from brief to show floor.

A permanent team of highly skilled carpenters, electricians and fabricators builds every stand using traditional methods as well as the latest machinery. You are presented with 3D visuals and detailed drawings of your stand before anything is built, and the same project lead works with you from concept to completion.

More than 75% of our work comes from existing clients, and as an ESSA member we promise that every project is completed on schedule. Read more about how we work or see the stands we have built.

Full service

What does a full-service stand builder handle?

Design

Our exhibition stand designers work from your brief to a concept designed around your brand, your products and how you want to meet visitors. You approve 3D visuals and detailed drawings before anything is built. Not sure what to put in a brief? Read our guide to writing an exhibition stand brief.

Build

Unlike stand contractors who outsource manufacture, we build every stand in our own workshop in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Carpenters, electricians and fabricators work under one roof, whether the project is a bespoke exhibition stand or a reconfigurable hybrid modular stand.

Deliver

Transport, on-site installation and dismantle are handled by the same in-house team that built the stand, so the people putting it up at the venue are the people who made it. One project lead stays responsible from concept to completion.

Joe Davies Ltd· client since 2009

We have used the services of T2 Display since 2009 and we would not consider moving to another contractor. In all that time the whole team have worked together so very well, have shown tremendous respect and yet great friendliness to all our staff and the attention to detail in discussing and completing the finished work has been second to none.

Common questions

Exhibition stand design & build FAQs

How far in advance should we book an exhibition stand builder?
Design approval and the CDM declaration can take up to six weeks, so ideally your stand builder is appointed at least two months before the exhibition. Finished artwork is needed four weeks prior to the show.
Do you design and build in-house?
Yes. T2 Display has a permanent team of highly skilled carpenters, electricians and fabricators who use traditional methods as well as the latest machinery. Design, build and installation are all controlled in-house.
Where do you build exhibition stands?
T2 Display is based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, near the NEC Birmingham, and delivers stands to exhibition halls, museums, public spaces and business HQs throughout England, Wales and Scotland, and worldwide.
What is the difference between a bespoke and a hybrid exhibition stand?
A bespoke exhibition stand is designed around your brand from a blank sheet and handcrafted in-house, with 3D visuals and detailed drawings approved before anything is built. A hybrid exhibition stand uses a reconfigurable, tool-less modular system, so it is faster and more cost-effective, and can be rebuilt in different configurations at future shows.
Can we hire an exhibition stand rather than buy one?
Yes. T2 Display's hybrid exhibition stand range is available with both hire and purchase options, so you can choose what suits your budget and your exhibition calendar.
Do you transport, install and dismantle the stand?
Yes. Design, build, transport, on-site installation and dismantle are all handled by T2 Display's own in-house team, with the same project lead responsible throughout.
Who will we work with during the project?
T2 Display operates a one-person policy: the same project lead works with you from concept to completion, so nothing is lost in handovers.
What should we include in our exhibition stand brief?
The essentials a stand designer needs: the show and venue, your stand space and its dimensions, which sides are open, your budget, your objectives, products to display, meeting or hospitality areas, storage needs, AV and touchscreen requirements, reception counters, whether you want to purchase or hire, and whether the stand needs to be reused at other shows.
Can the stand include platform floors and disabled access?
Yes. Floor platforms range from 38mm to 100mm, and disabled-access ramps are considered as part of the design so the stand works for every visitor.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements?
Yes. We are always happy to sign non-disclosure agreements if needed, so you can share launch plans and unreleased products with confidence.
Do you work on projects other than exhibition stands?
Yes. Alongside exhibition stands, T2 Display designs and builds museum displays, public-space displays and commercial fit-outs of HQs and business spaces throughout England, Wales and Scotland.
